I love to share my thoughts on this lovely tv with everyone, and in this one, I am going to write something about the features. Right, this one post is going to be about the meat and potatoes of un55d8000, so make sure to read this.

Since the day I bought this amazing un55d8000 tv, one thing I noticed right away is that this tv offers quite a lot of features, and they are really nice features too. This tv comes together with lot of new and useful features than any other tv out there. I can assure that. This improves the viewing experience while saving some energy too.

HDMI: this particular Samsung un55d8000 tv has upto 4 hdmi ports, which provides access to plug in upto 4 devices that supports hdmi. Now, these devices may vary from blu-ray players to home theater systems, and these have replaced typical AV cables reducing the no. of cables used. Also, this enables connecting a video camera or a handycam directly to un55d8000 tv, and watch whatever the media files in those devices. I found that having 4 ports in the tv makes it much easier to plug almost any device I wish, since most devices today use this port to connect between each other.

Anynet+ : this feature is something I saw only in Samsung devices, and it is standard on this un55d8000 tv. With anynet+, you can combine all the HDMI connected Samsung devices into one remote, and control every one of them via that remote. This makes controlling easy, and I use this to connect my Samsung un55d8000 tv, blu-ray player, home theater system together and control all of them via a single remote, so watching a movie with all controls at one place is a nice to have experience.

Hi, my name is Aaron D.  writing this blog on samsung’s un55d8000 tv, and I am not any pro writer or a regular blogger. For the last couple of years, I owned a LG LCD TV. It wasn’t a bad TV and it wasn’t the best. It was few months’ back when I decided that now it’s time for me to move to a new LCD tv, and later changed the plans to switch to a LED TV which was the latest of the TV’s. I did some deep researches on the TV’s available in the market today, and finally came up with the Samsung’s new LED 3D TV, un55d8000. It had almost everything I could imagine out of a TV. So, I bought it, and after using it for few months now, I couldn’t be happier than that.

Now to begin with, what I found amazing about un55d8000 is the quality of the pictures that it delivers. Suddenly when a big fish jumps up from the sea (in one of the movies I watched), I couldn’t anymore argue that I am watching some movie in a TV. It’s that so real to say. I find Samsung’s new 3D technology amazingly stunning. What I love about Samsung un55d8000 is that it came with every little gadget I might need to enjoy a movie in 3d, in a nice HDTV. That’s 3D in HD. The un55d8000 from Samsung came up with a nice pair of 3d glasses, actually mine came with 2 pairs of glasses, and they were really perfect for watching any movie in 3d, and as an added benefit saved me some money from my pocket since I didn’t have to buy new 3d glasses  separately.

Samsung has done better

So as to speak, I found that Samsung had done really nice job with un55d8000 putting all the things together for a really nice 3d enjoyment from every 3d movie I have. Indeed I cannot wait without seeing a new 3d movie every day ever since I bought this tv. I can see the different very clearly when compared with my old LG tv. That’s about the tv.

In order to enjoy a fully 3d experience, the key components needed are…

• A display, which this un55d8000 samsung tv is.
• A source to play the 3d content; a dvd or blu-ray disk player for example.
• A 3d content, or simply said, a 3d movie.
• 3d glasses, and without these, any 3d movie will not be 3d. Luckily this Samsung un55d8000 hdtv came with 2 pairs of these.

When all above list is complete and when combined, it makes a 3d movie watching complete. Now talking about un55d8000 again, another reason that I was happy with this tv was that it came with everything mentioned in above list except for the dvd player. So, I did not have to throw some money out of my pocket to get the other components.

Also, this nice tv came with some cool little things like a built in Wi-Fi connection, and Skype in the tv! It had some nice cool apps installed too, and I could find more apps in Samsung appstore, both free and paid. Also, it has some cute and unique features like eco sensors and etc, and I will be discussing more on them with details in future posts.
